Beautiful cover but I can't get the Giambattista Valli dress

I can see there's a lot to like about Alexa, but personally none of it appeals to me. I found this issue very underwhelming, from the front cover right through to the back page. 190 pages of not very many ads, the same fashion features UK Bazaar has been running for the past two months - metallics, nudes - and articles about gardening and knitting and organic cosmetics.

I like the way they tried for a theme - the idea of 'natural fashion' - but what that means to UK Bazaar is an interview with Ali Hewson and a shopping recommendation to buy a £995 Burberry necklace because it looks a bit like a plant.

The design is as slick as ever and goes a long way to compensating for anything else; I'm happy to flick through my subscription issue and see how they've arranged their text and images, but there's no way I'd have paid £3.99 for the edits or the features.

So I think people will enjoy seeing the scans but given the issue's lack of content... it's for the Alexa-mad, and I'm not one of them.

I know exactly what you mean, I like her as a model. But once she opens her mouth I really don't like her interviews, she never seems to come across as very likeable.
