The image is very inoffensive, which I suppose is ok, but I'm tired of this magazine's obsession with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. And to keep giving her September? She's not even the type of model or actress who's constantly on the everyone's radar.
I shall be getting the limited edition, even if I must wait a bit longer for it.

What's happening with her left boob????

I would say whilst she might not be a model on everyone 'in fashion's radar, she is very much on the radar of the general public. She sells well, which is why she keeps appearing and women relate well to her.

The write up for the article states how her massive her range of underwear for M&S is - their best selling underwear in the brand's history, one in every three pieces of underwear sold with them is from Rosie's range. She's appearing because she's marketable and women, in a very general sense, respond very well to her.

I'm gonna have to agree, it's a little to frothy for my taste. Maybe they wanted to repeat last year's September cover formula. That cover, however, succeeded at being both very feminine and high fashion. This feels like the cover of Barbie magazine.

I'm inclined to believe that women respond well to her, but three September covers back to back? This is overmuch, I'm sorry. In 2014 alone she had both March and September....
Surely there must be other women who could generate good sales?

Harper's is one of the lowest selling women's monthlies in the UK, so I imagine it isn't within their interest to find out. Why break a formula that works where sales are guaranteed.

^^^ Thanks vogue28.

So much better than the newsstand cover. If you must to do the whole romantic-frolic-through-a-dewy-meadow-in-a-midsummer’s-night-dream crap, this is the way to do it (although it does feel more like a spring cover than a September one...).

It seems in a desperate bid to rival other mainstream “September Issues”, UK’s Bazaar is cheapened to this brand of pandering to common consumer taste for the newsstand cover. That cover is at best, Victoria’s Secret catalogue trope. And for the coverline “For The Love of FASHION”, it's so laughably… not. By whatever means to get those coins from the masses, I guess.

There are five covers for this particular issue. Rosie's newsstand, Rosie's subscribers cover, a one with Kim and Kanye, a one with Hilary Rhoda (available on Hearst's site), a one with Arizona Muse (available from Harrods and other retailers) and another cover featuring a shot of Twiggy from 1967 (purchasable at the V&A).

Here's Kim and Kanye's cover:

I can already picture the editorials just by looking at their titles. Bazaar is always about country/highland tweeds, romantic pink, fairy tale type gowns etc. I know they're supposed to appeal to a certain demographic (40+ and affluent) but some variety would be nice.

the subscribers cover looks like something off those early 2000s gothic sites

Thanks for the info, Vogue28! I'll be seeking Arizona's cover, or failing that, Twiggy's one at V&A.
