Did they start doing this recently? I know i have several copies purchased outside of UK, and they dont have "British" in the O.

In the States it's always been like that... at least for as long as I've been buying it... and even when my Mom would buy it when I was younger.

I wish they'd do the same for import issues of US Vogue into the UK, because they put an enormous sticker on the cover instead, stating 'American edition'. Stickers are never good news for the condition of a cover, whether you leave them on or take them off...
