I think, in that cover, she's standing with crossbars from showjumping, but my mind always thinks they're the striped poles that you see in Venice's canals.

Cold Mountain is one of my favourite Sasha editorials, simply because of the overall atmosphere. It's not nature at her most beautiful - nor Sasha - but there's a faint air of menace, of something uncaring that could happen in that countryside, amid the hard ground and the damp air.

I think, at the time, I wished Stam had ended up on the cover, rather than Stella. Still do... that cruise editorial offered a lot of scenarios for a great cover shot, because of the backgrounds. The fashion in the editorial itself isn't too eye-catching, but I'm sure they'd have a suitable piece for a cover shot somewhere on the rails.
