I knew they would have to compensate for not using neon colors on the Sept. cover, but this is too much even for their standards.

I don't like it when Vogue put celebrities on the cover, to be completely honest. This is Cheryl's second cover although I loved her first interview with Vogue. The colouring of the cover is lovely but perhaps a little unseasonal?

I'm going to have to see the editorial up close before I pass a proper judgement.

I am certainly not impressed. I don't think Cheryl has the looks for such colors mashed together nor would I place her in the flower and innocent kind of theme.

Looking forward to see the eds.

Change is one thing, presenting herself as whiter than white is another, when not long ago she was seen as a Chav with a record.
The way Vogue plays up to the image of the innocent girl with dimples is risible... the woman came from a council estate and has a trashy tattoo around her thigh...

Seriously, some people just need to get over stuff. It's becoming highly boring now.

And she's from a council estate...so what? Can an 'innocent girl with dimples' not possibly ever have been brought up on a council estate?

*googles Cheryl Cole*
A celebrity gets put on a Vogue Cover = I get reminded how ignorant I am when it comes to celebrities. Apart from that, that cover reduces me to missing last month's Kate's.

I think even Lula magazine would reject this cover for being too kitsch.

This is one of the worst covers I have ever seen, she looks twelve years old. The expression is awful, like a rabbit in headlights and I have no idea why they've got fresh spring flowers on an October cover. The photoshop is so much that she doesn't even look like herself. I can't believe as a subscriber I have no choice but to receive this issue. I usually defend UK Vogue, but this is a new low.

Your so lucky she isn't shoved down your throat.

She looks sad/scared. It could be worse. The background and the flowers clash.

It's a shame Cheryl wasn't able to give her best - but it's almost as if UK Vogue itself resents having to use her for sales, which is why we've ended up with a cover that does nothing for her.

For me it's not at all about where she's from. I actually really like Cheryl Cole and enjoyed her last interview in Vogue. She seems like a genuinely lovely women from all of the press that I've caught about her.
It's more about the preference for models about celebrities in Vogue?

Perhaps it helps them to sell issues, but it was the same case with Cameron Diaz earlier this year.
