They've gone about it very lazy though! Once again, as with Renee Zellweger's cover, you cannot even see the dress due to the pose. I suppose it was more about the attitude than the actual pieces.

For a second I thought this was Edward´s first issue and I was floored
He better bring his A game next month, I need a palate cleanser.

Next month isn't his first issue either. It's due to a December I believe. This and next month were Emily. And we've already seen next month's cover, it's Clare Foy.

Edward first issue: december

So who signs the letter of editor of the months of October and November?

Although both cover choices for this issue were bad to begin with, I wish they picked the other cover. It looked more grown up. She looks like a schoolgirl in this cover :\

The first filler cover...
Very happy for Zoe, but what a horrible cover choice. There has to be better cover pics in the ed, here she looks bored out of her mind and a little dirty with the horrible hair.

But these were still shot under Alexandra right? So basically, this cover and issue is still under her, but signed off by Emily? Which is strange actually. She just wanted her last technical issue to be September but in reality, it goes as far as November.

I bought a copy of this today, it comes sealed in a bag with an A5-sized 'Secret Address Book' supplement. It was on special offer at £2, and at 310 pages, feels of some substance. Lots of perfume samples inside, which is what starts happening in the run-up to Christmas.

Going back-to-front through the issue, I see there's an interview with Susie Bick (and Nick Cave), and a music portfolio of London musicians that's very 'street'. The Kaia Gerber edit isn't bad; if these were the first photos of her ever presented to me, I'd really be into the idea of Cindy the Second, but having seen so much of her already, all I can see is their attempts to use her hair to disguise the way her eyes are too close together.

Guinevere on the beach is a bit conceptual and occasionally involves gritty shots of breasts (sometimes literally), and Zoe's rather bland feature is only saved by her sheer beauty.

For £2, I'm certainly happy with it, but I wouldn't have been inspired by the contents to pay £4 for it.

^^^ Kaia's close-set eyes are all I’m going to notice from now on.

Is Zoe's uneven, sickly, even bruised-looking complexion that’s seen here showing up in the physical edition?

Most of the shots are in b/w, which improves anyone's complexion. I think it's the tattoos - instead of making a bold statement, they're very small and indistinct, and that primes the eye to see other 'imperfections' on the canvas of her skin.

£2 everywhere I've seen it also. This magazine hasn't been full price in these parts for years.

It's full price everywhere I've seen it in London, but I wouldn't buy it for £2 either to be honest.
