Either way, I don't like the ombre hair or the Givenchy dress but other than that it's a decent cover.

It's gorgeous. Love Joan here in the Givenchy. I feel like if you removed the masthead, cover text and slapped the old 'W' logo on the side this have worked a la the old Thompson model portraits of the 90s.

I think Joan is a super boring model but you know what good for her for scoring this cover! Im pleasantly surprised that its not a double feature with Karlie. Not counting Kate Upton in September but was the last Elle model cover the Victoria's Secret angels one a couple of years back?

Not very excited by the editorial preview, but yes, the cover is great! She looks good, that styling really works on her and it's much more appealing than everything else US Elle has put out lately.

Don't like the shot where she's wearing the Gucci piece but everything else is beautiful, esspecially the cover! I, too, like every other member, am shocked but happily surprised that Elle US put an actual model on the cover!
