Wonderful cover. Love that it's outdoors. Love that she is wearing Chalayan. Love how the clutch reflects the sunlight in her face.

Why does it say 'U.S. Edition' next to Elle, but next to the barcode it says 'October 2009 U.K.' and 3.95 in pounds? Could it be a UK Elle instead?

^That's weird indeed. I looks more as a Uk Elle than a US (reason : look below for it)

The cover is cool. It's an outdoor pix so it's differente from the usual white background. Vic is pretty but I wish she has look at the camera (it would have been better)

I this cover for US Elle.
Who cares about any minor criticism at this stage.
This is something totally new for them, so they should be applauded for that at least.
I actually don't mind Victoria. I wouldn't get hugely excited by her on a cover, but it hardly turns me off.

I think it might be the British edition of the American magazine, that is sold in the UK. Looking at it, there's no question in my mind at least that it's the US version.

Lily Allen covers ELLE UK October 2009. It must be a copy of the American version that was bought at a newsstand in the UK as lavieenrose said. When I buy Vogue Italia in America, it has "$15.95 USA ONLY" printed above the barcode because even though it's clearly an Italian magazine, it's being sold here in the US.

Yes, I second that. Light is lovely and whole feeling is so fresh. Lovely cover!
