A bit much with everything on the cover but I'm happy to see Kate on it! The editorial has some great shots, to bad the didn't select one of those for the cover.

I think just switching photographers would solve 50% of my problems with HB. Why is Terry Richardson such an in-demand photographer? His style is a lack of style. If you handed me his equipment I could take the same photos. They're always similar, they lack inspiration, etc. His shoot with Gwyneth for March actually kind of worked because Gwyneth brought her A-game and it was something different for her, but this is the third month in a row that I've found myself thoroughly unimpressed by the cover/cover star's editorial. You get Kate Moss for the cover and then you waste her? Ugh. Get it together, Glenda.
The two good things about it are that well, she does look sexy and I'm glad the background isn't white. But the text, the lack of original ideas, and original photographers, and the wasted talent really annoy me.
Maybe it's just because I find terry's work atrocious that I hate their covers so much. When they finally decide to shoot a long editorial they come up with this disaster... Poor kate!

When you think back to the work Kate used to do with US Bazaar... I'm not lamenting her age, because I don't expect her to look the same, but in terms of spirit, most of that looks like a catalogue shoot which isn't paying her enough to be happy about being there. Kate is experienced and certainly up for fun in the name of fashion, but this hasn't brought out the best in her.

usually Terry's style (?) doesn't really bothers me, but what's kinda suitable for GQ doesn't work with FASHION magazine at all. I can't understand why Glenda insist on using this guy while she probably has access to lots of much more talented people (or maybe most of them are exclusively contracted to work for Conde Nast?). anyway, remember the days when I was quite interested in subscribing HB US, but now I wouldn't take it even if it was free. this magazine really needs new EIC, desperately.
as for Kate, never really understood her iconic status, but she can do MUCH, MUCH better than this crap.
