I don't mind the cover shot that much, its the attack of the text that is really painful with that image.
On their site there is a 20 page spread with her, and if anyone wants to post go ahead, because aside from few shots i think its really horrible, bad styling and Kate looking as remote as ever! Terry and Moss never work for me!
Whatever happened to "A minimal amount of text". I have disliked all of this year's issues of Harper's Bazaar so far and already, I dislike the cover for this one!
I kind of like some images but the editorial seems so disjointed - styling, poses, etc... anyway... i am kind of sick seeing models with open mouths...
The cover is kind of harsh with Terry's flash and the text and that horrendous feather dress. As for the editoria, I feel like the day shots look like catalog outtakes, but I really like the night shots (mainly because they remind me of Teller). Still, Kate has done much beter covers for this magazine and none of them were shot by Terry.
I like the cover image itself although I am on the fence about the background. The biggest issue is that the preponderance of text causes the cover loses its elegance and impact.
The ed is not an artistic wow, rather it is a serviceable sampling from the latest collections and that's OK with me. I am surprised that they were able to get Kate Moss to actually do that many changes.
I cant hate this magazine anymore, its too bad for words.
Right now I just have to ask a new editori-in-chief because that is the only option if they want to survive.
What have you done with Kate Moss? And I have no coments avout Terry doing the 4th cover in a row. He is not Meisel!
