It's a pretty sad state of affairs, isn't it?

Maybe she's reminding herself that it's a fashion magazine?

The thing that bothers me here is that from the thumbnails, I thought it was Miley. I hope they (whoever seems to be pushing her into fashion) don't go down that path (copying her look) because being Miley is hard enough, what more a shadow of her?

^ugh thanks for reminding me BlueOrchid. Indeed, a very truly sad state of affairs. It's like an alternate universe.

Carine really needs to stop trying to make Paris happen. It's almost painful to watch.

Must admit that I don't mind Paris' cover story whatsoever, since I'm such a sucker for the city of Paris and I love the fact Jean-Paul Goude was involved. The subscribers cover with Paris leaping in front of the Eiffel Tower is so cheesy that I cannot help but to smile.

Lottie Moss' editorial, however, does nothing for her whatsoever. It's just as bland as everyone thinks she is! Almost painful to look at.. and to think the world-renowned David Bailey was involved. Shockingly bad (and I thought Lottie's Chanel eyewear campaign was great)!

Given her background, what Paris probably needs is a taste of a normal life, not people looking to peddle her as another piece of fresh meat. Innumerable young women entertain dreams of becoming a model, but that doesn't mean they should be one - and certainly not on the basis of a surname. For their own good, if not ours.

you've absolutely nailed it. I read the Rolling Stone article and she comes across as quite affected and perhaps slightly immature, so this can not be good. Paris has the luxury of choosing any 'career' with the comfort of never having to worry about money, and the fact she wants to 'model' is indicative of her own delusions of the public's interest in her, not to mention her own vanity. This in no way suggests the public is interested in this girl at all, on the contrary, it just shows how HB is so out of touch and thinks so little of their readers they're willing to force upon them the offspring of a dead pop star over literally hundreds of more relevant and talented options.

Other than the cover edit which is an absolute eyesore, the rest of the edits actually looks good! Seliger's cheap Blade Runner edit may reek of digital photography circa 2000, but it is saved by the styling and the cast, Bailey's backshot of Lottie is the best I've seen of her, and the swimsuit story is a beautifully captured. Love the shot of Joséphine running the kite. A nice balance of storylines.

Just as well they cropped the covershot, because below the waist there's not much going on. It looks very droopy.

Thanks for posting, Serendipity!!

^^^ You are too generous, Benn.

Glenda's magazine is so juvenile-- and painfully/ hilariously literal with its concepts and inspirations, it’s on the same creative/mental level as first-year fashion/design students ripping off their idol designers in their projects. Just embarrassingly tragic when you remember how effortlessly visionary this mag was with Liz and Fabien.

The only— and I do mean only worthy shot in this entire eyesore issue is that tiny tiny pic of Sasha Lane.
