"The looks that Matter" is quite a strong editorial...The soft pallettes of the clothes are highlighted brilliantly with the stoney atmosphere...as pale as the garments are along with the scenery, Iselin makes a powerful presence and really saves the looks from becoming bland.
Those dresses are so unflattering on Iselin to the extent where I'm stunned. The second shot is the one I like most. Terry Richardson's edit isn't terrible, I rate it better than Nathaniel Goldberg's. There had better be at least one more editorial to come.
There's a short and boring accessories ed and also a Steven Spielberg-inspired one, photographed by Simon Proctor. Features Kiernan Shipka kissing ET (nice picture, looks like a still from the film,) Malin Akerman for Jaws, Evan Rachel Wood for Jurassic Park, and Dakota Fanning for Close Encounters. It's a lot better than that James Cameron editorial a while back.
Also one picture of Jac Jablonski from her Victor Demarchelier shoot, closeup with gold eye mask. Would have made a very nice and festive-feeling subscriber's cover.
Wow that shot is stunning, Jacquelyn was made for strong dramatic makeup. And love Lilys she looks super glam sexy.

Ok, i haven't bought Harper's Bazaar in, i believe, 2 years. But i had to have that cover. I just love looking at it, love everything about it. But upon closer inspection, i was very surprised with the content. Wow. When i lost interest in this magazine, it was becoming very common, absolutely nothing standing out, no where near my aesthetic. But this is beautiful. It looks precious, it looks like great care and pride was put in the layouts, it near My Bazaar, Liz Tilberis' Bazaar. Pleasant suprise!
Can the Lily/Terry thing end though? And Taylor... mighty pretty.
