This cover isn't in my style... but it's not bad I guess it's one of better Sarah Jessica Parker covers! And i really like Lagerfeld story!

Sarah Jessica Parker's always a relevant subject in the fashion community, so I don't have a problem seeing her cover Harper's Bazaar's September issue. It's just a shame she photographs so harshly these days. I doubt Terry Richardson's aesthetics help matters, though. Why do her eyes look terrible in every single shot? She looks as if she's looking upwards in all of them, which is very distracting. The profile shot is the best, I agree with Luxx on that one - just because her eyes are closed.

I like Sarah and the second photo with the feathers.

But somehow, I am not a big fan of Terry. All of his pictures looks the same. The models stay in front of a white curtain, and shoot ! I dont see anything special in his works.

I like Karls story. Its a beautiful work by him and Carine.

Sarah looks beautiful, but I just wish they hadn't chosen Terry for this, meh.

The newsstand cover looks like the same as her past Bazaar covers, just the background and text are different!

On a different note, I love Roitfeld/Lagerfeld's contribution.

They're so clueless it's funny. All those photos look like: Photographer runs into SJP on the street, she get excited and starts laughing and jumping. After that, the photographer (oh, that's Terry R - what a surprise) removes the street background and puts it on a white one.

I 100% agree with the sentiment that SJP will always be relevant within the fashion community- so it's always a pleasure to see her grace the cover of a magazine. I quite like the cover shot. I think she has a beautiful smile, but for me it's the gold dress i have a problem with. I feel like this is a cover that we've seen a thousand times before but the fact that it's SJP makes it up for me personally.

she's promoting her shoe line which will be available at nordstroms in the US in february. she talks about the shoes a lot and her career as a "businesswoman" in the story.

Nothing against her, but seems like an irrelevant choice for a cover girl at this point. Is she promoting anything? I can't remember the last thing she did.

She's Sarah Jessica Parker. She doesn't need to be promoting anything to feature on the cover of a fashion magazine. This isn't Entertainment Weekly, she'll always be relevant to fashion.
