It was obviously shot way before, but it's strange timing to put them on the cover.
Love Ginnifer's look. Kate has always bored me.

I think they both look quite good, although what they're wearing doesn't exactly go with the "SUMMER FASHION" title that's slapped across the cover.

As for the timing, I think they ended up making a smart decision. Kate is just getting more and more press with the whole engagement and baby thing, and releasing it for June means they don't have to compete with InStyle, who had Kate on their May cover, I believe.

Well.. Originally their movie was set to come out in July but the studio shifted it to May which would explain why it's coming out now.
