^^^ah thanks a lot (twin star) for the "inside" of the story ...
though we all understand it was about her topshop line.
i didn't know that "market-economy" part ...
that would explain a lot !! thanks again !

I think Kate looks very mature on this cover. Its great to see her not-so-edgy.

Anna's VOGUE = upmarket catalogue

All the eds are stale and vapid - would anyone want this if it didn't have 'the world's top models'?

about boredom and vogue us ... (maybe a mod can also copy/paste into the "Anna W. revamp your mag" ?)
i really think it's just a different vision ... that's my 2008 conclusion about vogue us ... and i can enjoy vogue us easier this way....
we are not all into the "conservative-US-XIXth-european-ancesters-bourgeoisie-meets-the-XXth-new-selfmade-fortune" into one and unique person ...
do i love the every summers colonialist cliché ? no ! but i can enjoy the styling ...
do i love the jumping girls ? not that much ... but it's fun !
do i love celebs every month ? i get used to it ... models just sell into the fashion circles ... celebs sell into the mass !!

vogue us can really give you ideas when you're about to jet on some chic and bourgeoise Hermès summer camp and have no idea and no style ....
it's actually really down-to-earth for some americans ... and is uniqly dedicated to these "socialites" (that dream about the old old european bourgeoisie ... and sometimes noblesse) .... live with(in) it or dream ... if you don't like it buy another vogue !

non ?

but please no more "it's boring", "it's boring as usual" ...
even a 2weeks TFS' break can't help me with this ...

I'm happy to see Kate on the cover but I don't really like it... So bland... I'll probably buy that issue to support the move though...
And I like the line-up of models inside! Especially pleased to see my darling Maryna!

the line-up is indeed fabulous, and i love tanya as a 60-something

i will try to keep the decorum and refrain from any inappropriate comments on the cover because it's obvious i can't like a crap like this.

agreed. most posts in Vogue US threads are just as redundant as the magazine itself.

Kate Moss on the ageless issue?

Is that supposed to be a joke? She has to be one of the worst aging models

That's exactly right... Topshop is opening in NYC in September.

Thank you Berlin... if you would like discuss your boredom with Anna Wintour & Vogue please do so here... I'm sure all that are interested can have a very lively discussion...

Exactly. We have to judge the magazine based on itself not its competitors. US Vogue is a completely different animal than Vogue Paris or Vogue Italia or any other Vogue. If you're looking for edgy you're looking in the wrong place - maybe when Anna Wintour retires there will be some massive sea change but I doubt it. The bread and butter of US Vogue relies on celebriities, socialites and very classic shot and styled editorials.

And I will point out the the fact that there is the Tell Anna Wintour How To Revamp US Vogue Thread. Its tedious to see the same "its boring" comment every single time a new issue comes out. JINX MMA!

How many US Vogue covers does this make for Kate? I'd wager its her 3rd or 4th at this point.
