She has such a beautiful smile, it is a shame there is not a single image here where she doesn't look completely serious. I agree about the background on the cover looking too fake. And what an ugly coat I basically hate everything about the cover except for the cover subject. The main ed leaves me entirely cold, too. It looks like random stills from IMDB and not like a fashion editorial.

The whole story is giving me Vanity Fair vibes; must be the fact that the focus is on the "plot" rather than on the clothes. Still it's nice to Claire on the cover again after 15 years. By now I am convinced Daria's ed is for September.

^ It really is great to see her back after 15 years, wow, I'm always a sucker for women who reinvent themselves, and a round of applause for no banner.

If that Daria ed is fantastic, i would prefer to have it in Sept issue, but that is just me.

I'm so happy she got a Vogue cover. Too bad that the final result is far from good.

Her cover by Meisel from July 1998, much better done:

I'd rather have it in the September issue as well tbh. Daria by M&M in Venice sounds too special for the August issue.

Her cover is bland and she looks constipated, but the ed is fine.

this is from word to word exactly the same what I am thinking

I usually love outdoors shots on the cover but this looks so fake

I'm really glad to see her on the cover, it's well deserved!

This cover is probably the ugliest thing I've seen in ages. Her face looks terrible, and she's a pretty girl so I don't understand how they managed to do that.

Ugh. When I read the title I got so excited. Alas, the cover doesn't live up to its potential. I don't mind the picture neck down, but the face looks very strange. The shape, the expression, the position are all so awkward and unflattering. The all white text is too obnoxious and distracting.

I dont know but I find this super lazy.
The cover is just another simple half body shot with a green backrop and the editorial looks like still from Homeland. Couldnt they have done something a little more special? Its Vogue after all...

What a shame the cover and editorial are so lackluster.

that's a bad cover , i only like the complimenting colours wich give a good autumn vibe
Claire's expression is weird & she looks as lifeless as that awful senseless backround.
That coat is so ugly even Daft Punk can't help here......what a mess!

the ed is okay, but where's the connection to the cover
