^ It goes way back to Farrah Fawcett and other Charlie's Angels as well, even Linda Evans of Dynasty graced the cover once i believe.

so happy for her even though i'm not particularly in love with the outcome. the cover looks almost like a romantic painting or something.

I like the fact that she isn't smiling all big and wide like most cover stars, but I wish she didn't look so discontent - maybe if there was more beyond the eyes than the "I wish this was over already" look she has. With that said, I do like that she has this not playing around kind of mood to the setting of the editorial.

I'm amazed at how tedious this looks - how lifeless and uninterested Claire seems to be and how horrendous the fake background looks. This all looks so rushed, as though the feature was shot last minute to replace something which was discarded.

I do anticipate the contents of this issue, though. There had better be at least one stimulating fashion editorial which injects some enthusiasm into the issue.

I asked my boyfriend: "Guess who's on the cover of next month's US Vogue? I'll give you a clue: she's the epitome of a basic actress" and BINGO, he got it right

Let's say this cover is a good reflection of her personnality

This would have to be the first time I have ever heard Claire Danes described as a "basic actress".

I am now convinced Annie detests happiness, joy, and life. All of her recent covers leave the subjects dead-eyed and expressionless, most of them aged beyond their years. This cover is no exception; plasticized setting, uninterested subject, and boring colors.

That coat does not belong on a cover, or anywhere for that matter.

I respect her as an actress, but without having watched Homeland, most of this feels meaningless to me. Obviously millions of people do enjoy the show, but purely on my own personal level, buying a fashion magazine to see a recreation of a TV show that I haven't got into... I'd rather see her do something visually different from any of her roles. I'd rather see Claire than Carrie.

Not to mention that tv stars are usually equally, if not more popular than movie stars, since they are on television much more often so people can relate to them better. I'm actually surprised not more tv stars have graced the cover.

Sorry if this has already been said, but what is she wearing on the cover?

I am sure that trenchcoat looks much more better in reality but of course they photoshopped it too much and it looks like neopren

TV programs are the new movies. I would expect to see a lot of TV stars on magazine covers now and in the future.

I like the image inside the surveillance vehicle. the others - not so much.

The interview itself was a bit obnoxious. what's the use complaining about movie choices she has made if she walked away from a critically acclaimed show gambling on the chance that movie work would pay more and would take less effort?

the first vogue cover she did was beautiful.
