The cover is terrible. Vogue US should get rid of Annie Leibovitz.

the first vogue cover she did was beautiful.
There was an article posted in the Business of Magazines thread about the very fact TV stars are, on the whole, selling magazines better than the movie stars. Them, along with musicians, are the people who are going to be taking over the covers I imagine.

I like Claire, I think she's a terrific actress, and I enjoy Homeland. I like the shot of her on the cover, I think she's look great, I am however now too enthralled with the clearly fake backdrop they've given her, otherwise I think she looks great. The editorial based on the show is a little too literal for my tastes and it feels like it's a bit of waste, although when you remove Claire from the settings, I like her. I think she looks great in that blue Calvin Klein dress... it's just a shame she's standing in an interrogation room in it!

I like the cover but I don't care for Claire's look. She looks kind of put off to me.

Looks like Karlie Kloss is in this issue (surprise) with Daft Punk photographed by Craig McDean! I'm liking this.

Vogue US really likes to put wigs on Karlie and I haven't the slightest clue why. They rarely look any good.

^That wig looks like the brunette version of Gaga's The Fame Monster wig. Awful
But, I love Daft Punk and their latest album is nothing but amazing. So I'm looking forward at that ed, since the cover is not of my liking, same for the main ed. It is boring and dated, and it's not the photographer's fault in this case.

I agree with the tv stars comment! They are becoming more and more popular and if you look at the movies out recently I would much rather be watching my tv. Even if you don't care for Claire's personality, she is an amazing actress and kills it in Homeland.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the editorials, I might actually buy US Vogue for once.

I know, especially when they've made such a big deal about her huge/incredible/icon-in-the-making hair cut.

I hope nobody put any money on Daria Werbowy being in this issue.

Daft Punk!
I'm really excited for Bonjour, Brooklyn. The casts sounds superb.

I think this is Mikael Jansson's first editorial for US Vogue, yes? He photographed Helen Mirren earlier this year for the magazine. He's an excellent addition to US Vogue!
