At least they've been changing up the backgrounds lately. But they really should have tied the cover into the theme of the movie and the Leibovitz ed.

I don't feel this, the angle makes her jaw look big, the expression is a bit weird as if she smelled something weird and as always Annie L. retouched the photos to death, she and Mario Testino are always retouching way way too much their subjects (which is why I prefer Demarchelier and Meisel much better). Will wait to see the editorials but it's a pretty mediocre cover.

Anne's eyes look so odd and way too much photoshop. I don't like it, her last US Vogue cover was much more impressive. Liking the handsome picture of Eddie though. 'Dreaming a Dream' looks interesting.

It's a bit similar to an old Natalie Portman/Vanity Fair cover image, also shot by Leibovitz:

No, the cover looks extremely sad. I wish it had been in the mood of 'Dreaming a dream'.
That editorial is really beautiful, especially Amanda

the cover is so beautiful and really works for her, but her editorial is boring catastrophy which has nothing to do with the cover

My thoughts exactly, she looks horrible. Her face looks so weird I get annoyed looking at this. The hair looks greasy and strange, too. This is all wrong. It could probably have worked had it been a full body shot because I do like the backdrop and the dress, but her face is so unappealing in this, I'm still baffled as to why anyone would choose this shot for a cover.

The Dreaming a Dream editorial is tacky beyond belief. Also, all the taglines on the cover sound like Glamour, not like Vogue, what's up with that? This looks really disappointing. Hopefully at least the fashion content will be more exciting than in recent months.

Just because how festive the cover is, I like it. The gold 'American Edition' sticker that gets slammed on here will make it even more festive too. Although Annie Leibovitz has made Anne seem she's emulating Julie Andrews outta' The Sound of Music in the editorial.

Yikes, her editorial and cover

Amanda looks beautiful in her portrait, though. Those eyes...

It's terrible. Her face looks quite unflattering on the cover.. Very tired and bland and the editorial is also doing nothing for me. I prefer to see Katie Holmes on the cover.

the styling of her ed is really terrible, and of course Tonne 's responsible again. I'd rather see her style "normal eds" instead of celebrities, that usually makes more sense....

Well, another typically boring cover from US Vogue. To make it worst, I am not feeling the festive feeling that a December cover should exude. Anne looks bored and the editorial is ridiculously ugly/plain. If the eds/content inside aren't good either, think I will just skip this issue again.

But I do like about one thing, it's good that they use some interesting background, not these plain ones they always used before.
