Wow..this is an all time low for them. Can't believe they put her on the cover. I'm speechless. Was hoping it was all a bad rumor.
why?. I'm not a fan either but I'm really curious why some are finding it hard to cope with this cover?, I mean, she's an actress.. she's everywhere, she has a slightly distinctive red-carpet style from what I've seen, she's allegedly dating a popular actor and has been featured in serious films (Twilight Saga excluded).. add to this the fact that this is US Vogue.. gone are the days when US Vogue only featured remarkable actresses or successful faces of the modeling industry, I really don't see how Kristen Stewart somehow lowers this more than a cover featuring Jennifer Aniston (who at one point had similar credentials to Kristen and currently plays only shadow of that), or Sienna Miller (who only had the popular boyfriend and wardrobe on her side).. or worse, Melanie Knauss.. who had none of that and actually portrayed more the pre-historic woman that married for money, was beautiful and didn't matter whether she had a brain or not.
Sorry if this sounds dense, the reactions when this was posted got me thinking.
I feel like when it comes to US Vogue or Vogue Paris, sometimes people really lose sight of the current standards and judge based on a reputation of a magazine and an industry that do not exist anymore.
