is there such thing as a chic hippie? Cause that's what I'm feeling with Taylor's spread....but not in a good way if that makes sense. It looks very over-styled to me
I have a question for subscribers: I´ve read that if you´re a subscriber you´ll get a limited access to the new Vogue digital archive... is it true? any of you got access?
I'd like someone to chime in on this, too. I do subscribe but am currently in subscriber-limbo as I've just renewed. I was really looking forward to this "limited access" I was hearing about but I haven't heard anything about it since.
Aaron and lara's ed is nice all round, love the styling and atmosphere of it all. Isabeli and karlie's ed however is a bit of a disaster. The big hair looks awful, isabeli looks great in the last shot though. Julia's is lovely actually, glad to see her in us vogue! Thanks for posting tarsha!
The enormous hair worked for Japanese Vogue, since Anna Dello Russo was involved, and complimented the excessive styling. Here it's just a disaster, uninteresting and fails to contribute edge to the photos. Lara's editorial doesn't stimulate me either. Overall I'm underwhelmed with the issue. Maybes after a purchase, I'll come across some decent articles.
Most of the content posted so far... it's not really playing to the strengths of what's being featured in each editorial. For example, towering hair is an interesting idea, but not when it's teamed with a slouch.
And the editorial above is hardly the worst offender for this, but - as others have said - I am so sick of seeing men with wrinkles in magazines, when women's faces are usually reduced to one-dimensional masks where every natural line is eradicated. The irony is, Lara gets to look quite messy in that shoot, it's contrary to her blonde sex-bomb editorials, but she still looks half his age, and for me, it's a tipping point, the last little instance that makes me turn away from the entire circus.
