I thought I`ll never see this day! This is very beautiful! Fantastic job from US Vogue! I love her pose, her fresh smile and everything! This is just really beautiful! What a great way to kick start the year! I am just so excited!!!!

When I read the title, I automatically was excited and happy! Meryl is a beautiful cover choice and the cover is quite refreshing. I am really excited for her movie coming out and I look forward to her interview.

Side Note: This makes the fourth consecutive Vogue cover to feature a serious Best Actress contender.

Oh-my-gosh yes! I actually let out a yelp when I read the tag line. I freaking love Meryl Streep. And seeing her on the cover of Vogue is wonderful. I think it might be too soon to tell if the cover is good or bad though because it's not HQ. Will wait to pass judgement until then.

I think she is. Before her I think Priscilla Presley on the August 2004 cover would have been the oldest cover star at 59. Although someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

This is a very refreshing cover. Vogue US has been doing a very good job with cover stars for the past year, I have to say. Let's face it, they're not going to be putting many models on the cover unless the trends drastically change (which I doubt will happen), so I think the best we can hope for is them just drawing from a more diverse pool of celebrities for their covers.
