Very nice surprise. Glad to see her on the cover. I've always been surprised that Anna only put her on the cover once seeing as how Gwen has better style than 90% of the regular cover stars.

I received the issue today from the news-stand at my train station, I hope it is OK to post [the photo is from my instagram / tumblr blog canyouwhoopit.tumblr.com-- not leaking any juicy news from the inside // totally not an insider & there were plenty at the train station for all to see --

inside is Carolyn Murphy & Karen Elson by Steven Klein and Grace
Edie Campbell & Karlie Kloss by Craig McDean and Camilla Nickerson in a lovely 60s style editorial that I am absolutely obsessed with
and also Cara Delevingne by I believe Boo George

not at home at the moment but can post more photos / scans when I am.

& the cover photo is by annie L. -- which I thought was a surprise

Actually really really love this cover, Gwen looks fantastic and the styling is lovely. And the review sounds so great as well, but will this be Cara D's first appearence for Vogue US? I can't remember atm if she was featured before

I'm not that surprised that this cover was by Annie, it has her colour scheme. However I really, really love it. Which is a surprise considering that the last few have left me cold.

Gwen is someone who I really love for relatively nondescript reasons; she seems to follow her own line of thinking as far as music and her image goes yet without alienating the mainstream.

The editorial content sounds a bit dull though.

I am pleasantly surprised by the choice to put Gwen on the cover. It's a nice change from the usual sort of people who land a cover of Vogue. The color scheme is really lovely too, the gold is pretty. Though I'm not sure if I like the way Gwen is sitting, it looks a bit awkward. It's hard to tell in this picture though, will have to wait till a better quality picture is released to decide.

Seeing gold theme at the beginning of year feels fresh because it's more conventional to use the color at the end of year/for the holiday season. It's such a glorious start of a year. Gwen looks young and fresh, too.
The inside editorials sound a bit boring indeed, but I'm looking forward to the Carolyn & Karen ed.
