Hate the pose, but love this. The styling & the colours make me excited for the holidays! It's almost unbeliavable that Gwen is 43, she looks as young as in her 20s...
It is quite festive and does make you excited for the holidays, and I think it's really successful because it doesn't feel cheesy at all. Quite stylish and cool, actually.
Not to sound cynical or critical (but I tend to always play devil's advocate when people say these kind of things about celebrities ),and I know it's a little OT, but I think it's simply a matter of her personal style and attitude that creates the image that she is much younger. If you look at her face closely in candids, she looks much closer to her age than you would think (though I still don't think 43 is particularly old). eg below:
I don't know a great deal about her career in detail, but what's more important than how she looks is that she's an incredibly accomplished woman in music who has had a great influence in the fashion world, too.
While I wasn't too crazy about that Saint Laurent Paris collection I think it really suit's Gwen. It fits her style and she seems like the type of people that the label was hoping to reach with such a collection.
On a side note, I really hope that Vogue ask's her about that horrendously racist music video that No Doubt shot and later took down. It would be really awful if they just glossed over that since it's part of the recent news stories about her.

Well she has been successful with her clothing line L.A.M.B. which sells pretty well, No Doubt's new album dropped somewhat recently and she can actually perform live without lip synching unlike many of today's it-girls.
Love it from what I can see, this would be the first Issue I will buy after a very long time. The theme is quite unexpected for a magazine like American Vogue which is based on cliches and "oh I have seen this before" covers. Posted via Mobile Device
