Testino's ed is not spectacular but it's fresh, it's summer-ish and it makes me want to be already on holidays.... but style and photos are in the same style of what I expect of Vogue US no surprise no joy!
I check in some previous june issue... and it's always the same... wasp-ish actress on the cover and supermodel (or stylists) summer vacations... for instance june 2003 was Reese W. on cover and models' vacation editorials... but they had more pages (for instance Lyia who opened the summer vacation eds had 8p., same for Jacquetta, Karolina K. and Karen Elson... ) it looked better...

Is there only two edits?. What's up with Vogue, in the last year they've given us about 4 or 5 issues with only two edits in them. And the Paradise Bound feature isn't really an edit. It seems that every year Vogue becomes less and less about fashion, even when they do have multiple edits and an interesting one or two in it, the rest of the issue is taken up by a million other things not related to fashion. Some people may like this but it just makes it so boring to me. Basically it has become a lifestyle magazine with two or three fashion shoots thrown in. That's why I kept my subscription to Bazaar and not Vogue, because even when Bazaar has subpar edits the rest of the mag is filled with fashion, and it's features also focus mostly on fashion. That's the whole point of a fashion magazine is it not? There's just no fun in Vogue. I've said it a million times before but I'll say it again, My biggest problem with Vogue is the front of the book, every issue seems like an encyclopedia. It could use a couple of shopping pages or accessories still lifes thrown into the mix with their endless boring articles.

I love the Doutzen ed! Thanks for scanning. The other 'ed' by Norman Jean Roy is nothing special.

Doutzen looks great although somehow the editorial to me looks a little... messy.

Wow, they have her name! She rocks + I think that she might be replacing Caroline in Anna's eyes!

As along term reader of US Vogue i fiercly disagree with that.I buy US Vogue mostly because of their articles, wich are very well researched and written. No matter how awful their cover is,i am never ever bored by their articles,so i hope they dont change that.Harpers Bazaar may have great edits but they bore me to death, the worst and most shallow articles i have ever read in my life.

^yeah I don't know that much Harper Bazaar... hardly buy 5issues in my life...
but as far as I know Vogue US is a fashion magazine... not a book or a lifestyle magazine... So of course they must have articles, it's important, but fashion editorials is very very important, too....

but keep it calm guys, it's a june issue after all...
