I DONT LIKE THIS. This is so disappointing.

VOGUE is NOT Vanity Fair.

I would prefer a celebrity actress etc!
This is so not a fashion magazine!

That's true.
However, I still don't like the thought of athletes gracing the cover of US Vogue, unless it's together with models, and find the result seriously boring. It's too beige (I know it's supposed to be gold), it doesn't stand out and I just don't see the point of this. I hope the fashion editorials won't all be sports-themed, too.

I don't like it at all. I wouldn't have cared for the sea again if it were executed on an innovative way but it isn't. My hopes were not really high for this issue though. Just boring and repetitive at first sight, typical Annie Leibovitz. Is it just me or there is a bulge on the inferior area of Selena's swimsuit?

^ Boring. At least we all know what JLo and Mario were shooting a few months ago.

Very Vanity Fair but in a good way! I really like this! It breaks away from the typical US Vogue cover. Very refreshing, very summery and represents olympics very well.

I find it irritating that more attention is given to male athletes than female athletes, tbh. They get 28 pages while women get 8. Okay.

well, people always complain about alt, but anna uses the same models over and over and over again.

im looking forward to see all the athletes rather than the models.

I really like the idea of having Athletes take up the majority of the issue. It`s their time to shine and they deserve it more than Arizona, Karlie ++ (well maybe just for this month or months to come)

The cover is not bad in general, it's just that there are no connections with a fashion magazine what Vogue is. I'm not familiar with American athletes and to me as an European who is only looking fashion from a magazine like Vogue, this cover is just really random. Why would I buy a magazine with athletes I know almost nothing about? If that Ryan guy would have been shot with Karlie and Joan, for example, then it would have been a complete different story. So yeah, the cover is kind of nice, but it has zero impact to me and it wouldn't lead me to buy this Vogue US number.

Well she put Gaga's face on the cover
