and on the subject of chanel iman, sure, she may have had to include a minority model, but i believe it's chanel because of teen vogue...

she's been in there alot, even had a 2-3 page article/interview, and anna does oversee all the us vogue titles (vogue mens, vogue living, etc.)

I couldn't agree more, Chanel Iman is hardly at the level of all the other true supermodels on that cover. i can think of lots of models that have blown her runway, editorial, and campaign record out of the water- Freja, Freja - oh did I say Freja twice?? how about Irina l., Anja Rubik, Inguna, Magdelena, Behati, Bette, Bruna, Bianca, Natasha Poly, Snejana, Iselin, Lisa Cant, Elise Crombez, i could go on for days.

Catherine is too new. vogue eds are usually shot 5 months in advance and no one knew she was going to be so big before f/w 07-08.

I think the newest should be on the front page (coco, sasha, hilary, chanel, doutzy) and the toptops on the fold out (stam, lilD, trenty, raquel)

It could have been so much fresher if it was close up of the 'new' girls. Or maybe a multi cover like Deutsche VOGUE did recently. Those were great.

Well, Doutzen has got the prime position, definitely, as she should too. She's climbing on top of the Vogue letters. Other than that my eyes went to Lily Donaldson - who seems to have nailed one of those classic Lily poses and Chanel Iman - who has been a beautiful poser from day one.

But honestly, I can't wait to see the cover as it was meant to be. Did they manage to capture their personalities...and is it a good image. I just can't tell from this icon.

Even though I disagree with the choice, I love Chanel's pose. Very soft (hard to tell, of course, but from the looks of it. )
