Okay either Isabeli or Raquel should have been on the main cover as opposed to Anna. Since they have already been featured on the gatefold once before they should have been promoted. If Wintour wanted an unexpected choice on the main cover then the honor should have gone to Natasha as she's almost at the level of Liya and Natalia but has always, until recently, been shunned by US Vogue. Natalia and Liya deserve the main cover because they're supermodels(or as close to it as possible these days) and deserve to land the cover of the most important fashion magazine and I like the fact that even during this celebrity era both of them can claim to have been on the cover of Vogue multiple times!!! In fact Liya, Natalia, and Natasha would have been the perfect cover imo but since Anna got it I'm guessing she'll be the new KK and will be put into a monthly rotation as Karolina was after she landed the cover so early on in her career.

i think they put natalia on the cover because she is the face that is going to sell this issue.im glad anna has finallly come to her sense!

First thing's first. Isabeli??? What is she doing there. The lady is beautiful but already overexposed in connection with Victoria's Secret. Further more she doesn't even get booked for the big runway shows. Or is this a way for Anna to tell the world that Isabeli should success Hedi Klum?

Vodianova and Poly need to be in the photo as much as Michal Jackson would need to join American Idol. Those two are already super models, making this cover very redundant as it does nothing for them nor the readers. Zimmer could have done without the cover too and Natalia's hair styling is terrible as it makes her look like a toddler.

Jagodzinska is a highly questionable choice.

but in practice, i'm resigned to very, very low minimum expectations for Vogue US covers (what with their pathetic choice of celebrities), so i take whatever we get. Plus Hilary! Hilary!

yes agreed Isabeli was in the same position of her 2004 cover. 5 years then, she is still on the cover and at her best after 2 retirements and comebacks.. i don't complain but Anna J was the model of the entire line up who less deserved the position. raquel or isabeli would have been perfect. liya and natalia are good choices for the front

I've just seen vogue28's avatar and got so excited!

The cover isn't ground-braking, but when it comes to such a type of shots, it doens't need to. I love how the models are styled in such a classical way, but still menage to express thier personality & individuality. I have to admit Natsha looks the best though I like the whole casting, but if we would tak the title literally Natalia, for instance, is not such the model of the moment

+ I'm in love with Lily's natural shot And I'm quite excited for Lakshmi's editorial. Inidia, sounds great!

I am surprised how diverse the covers have been for Vogue this year, Anna has kept things unpredictable for change, perhaps the economy has made the team more creative with their choices. After all, that's three covers in a row with an African American woman on the cover...that's a change in itself.
