wow natalia did an amazing job in 'the great pretender'... i watched blowup again yesterday so veruschka's image was very fresh in my mind when i saw the ed, and i was so amazed by how much natalia looks like her in that picture... on the previous page she looks exactly like dovima and then on the next page she is twiggy. really impressive.
i haven't read 'the godfather' yet but i like both pictures, everyone looks beautiful. it's meisel with, what? fifteen models? there's always one model looking weird, but in this case there isn't, even agyness kind of closed her mouth a little, and so did coco (she looks really good! god bless her new hair). kristen mcmenamy looks fantastic, i love the scissors in her hand and also LOVE her shoes. guinevere and karen caught my attention too (well they always do...) and naomi looks like a goddess. in the second picture all the girls look good too (except for raquel). isabeli is a bit pouty, but doesn't look bad, and lara seems to be holding back all her sexiness (and boobs) and looks very fragile - which is good because it shows her versatility... i'm reluctant to make any comment on the cover line "faces of the moment" because i think many people have already said what i'll say... it's confusing, i only found out who anna j(...?) was when she got a zillion campaigns last season, so she really is one of the faces of this moment (and maybe a has-been in a couple of minutes, after all it's steven meisel we're talking about), but at the same time jourdan dunn is getting bigger, and lara stone is at the top, and natasha poly and raquel are a little bit more established, so i don't really understand to what "moment" anna is making a reference... but to be really honest, i'm just glad it's not a bunch of blonde clones (it worked for prada's s/s 2009 campaign, but that's it) and, as i said before, lara stone is there, so i can't complain too much.
just one question - what is justin timberlake doing with marc jacobs and kate moss (who looks gorgeous by the way)?

I loved the newbies group shot, but it's kind of annoying they left Anna J and Jourdan out of it

I LOVE this but some of the editorials seem very forced and redundant ie. the boyfriend editorial? I don't understand the point of this? Society is barely interested in the models themselves - do you they care for their boyfriends? I don't think so.

Also, the Kate Moss/Marc Jacobs editorial is fine. But with Justin Timberlake? What the heck? It's the most awkward and random concept EVER. I cringe just thinking about it!

The cover is really great, but the choice of models is not really good.

Where are Doutzen, Toni Garrn, Maryna Linchuk. Caroline Trentini doesn't have lots of campaign this season, so Models of the moment is not really appropriate.
