I can't judge until there is a proper HQ, but I dont' hate it so far.

It's her facial expression that puts me off. Perhaps if the HQ of this cover pops out, I would a different view of this. But so far, it doesn't look good.

I actually like the cover. Though I don't like her facial expression. That wasnt a good choice. But its a good cover nevertheless and even though they're just basing it off the movie, it's still different from the other stuff they've done. With a few changes it could've been my fave cover since July 2011.

I'm hoping for a Meisel's editorial this time.
As much as I would like to see Meisel back in US Vogue, I'm starting to think there is not much hope as he has not been shooting for US Vogue for some time now..

I think the cover is by Testino as well. The more I look at the cover, the more it reminds me of a less artsy rehashing of Vogue Italia April 2008, featuring Natalia Vodianova. Mainly, it's the styling and the ethereal background.

Totally, if she was making a decent face I'd like this. People are acting like this is the worst cover ever but have they seen some of the international Vogue covers from the last 5 months?

The colors of her dress/Vogue lettering/etc. are all clashing. Awful.

I agree Mat Cyruss, some of the images from the editorial could have made great covers. Especially the last one could have made a stunning cover. I'm not too keen on the cover, while I appreciate the risk of using a garment that's lime green, I'm not sure it works in this setting. It all feels a bit harsh to me.

After seeing a better version of the cover, and now the editorial, I have to say Carey sapped the potential out of this story. Her expressions are rather immature. It could have been a GREAT spread if it starred someone else, maybe Gemma Ward or Elle Fanning (whom she looks like in the shot by the window in the Chanel HC dress). I think the two best shots are the ones where she's turned away from the camera. I still like the cover, but it could have been better.

The portrait with the pink dress on should've been the cover, hands down.

Why on earth did they choose that image for the cover!! It`s so sad to see the editorial with a very amazing story to have a cover like that. There were many potential cover shots that they could have used. The fifth shot would have been phenomenal but no, they chose to go mainstream and have it done with a typical Vogue cover.
