The fact is they did take a risk by putting Knightley on the cover after she sold so little the last time. But she does have a new movie coming out and it all ties in. Jessica Simpson isn't exactly great at anything and she manages to sell magazines so I don't think it has much to do with actual talent or even likability. And Keira would not be the second highest paid actress in Hollywood if she wasn't doing something right. And as far as her whining goes- that has more to do with the people interviewing her and asking her the same five questions. If people actually asked interesting, different things we might get a different interview- but luckily she doesn't have one in this issue so there is nothing to worry about!

But i actually understand and know what you mean, its just how it is these days, especially for famous women, wheter they have scandals or not, the negative comments will be there, courtesy of saturated celebrity culture we live in with all the gossip blogs and tabloids throwing images and news at us...the days when actresses were built up and cheerished are gone. But reality is always different and i dont think even someone like Paris Hilton is as hated as we think.

I completely agree with you, actually, especially with your second paragraph. I really have no bone to pick with you, I've misinterpreted what you were saying; it's just that a lot of these magazine threads become so anti-celebrity and overly critical, more as a trend than because people actually care that much about it. I think part of the reason I like Keira is that I don't sustain myself on E! News, Us Weekly, et cetera so she doesn't feel like an imposition in my life at all (not saying you care for those things by contrast, of course). People bring celebrity culture into their lives to the point that even the nice, normal actors/actresses/musicians become unbearable to see and hear about. They moan over every celebrity cover like they're having teeth pulled. The funny thing is that when magazines switch it up and put models on their covers, people b*tch about that too. It's like a sport... people have been conditioned to pick everything apart. They get more pleasure out of being dissatisfied and being able to complain constantly than they get out of actually liking something...

Hopefully that didn't seem too off-topic. I agree with what kylenrose said-- I'm sure Keira's not the broken record interviewers make her out to be. It's like they don't even bother viewing her as a full-fledged person; all the interviews rehash the same questions time and again. I think they just tag actresses with certain descriptive phrases (I guess Keira's would be 'skinny' and 'fame-averse' ) and then market them forever under that context, it makes them easier sells.

Coco's ed is kickass in personal. Nice choice of clothes. But it's sort of mistranslated on the computer screen (No offense, Luxx, it's not about the way you scanned them).

Coco's ed is nice, I'm not fan of the clothes but looks good all together. I like the background!

Coco's editorial is boring to me.

But Keira's editoiral looks pretty brilliant from the previews. Like her or not, you can't deny she can create some pretty good fashion shots.

I love her work with Vogue. She's the perfect actress for it. I prefer her over Kate Hudson and all those other types any day!

It's in her thread, Kylenrose posted it. If somebody can post it here with credit, that'd be useful!
