540p. instead of 840p. ? Yeah ... So what ? Makes me nothing ...
* anyway the 840p. issues were full of 700p. of adv. *
Did the number of ad pages has gone down ?
I feel the same

September Vogue covers are not usually very glamorous though, ie.) Bridget Hall, Keira Knightly, Gwyneth Paltrow, Linda Evangelista, Kate Hudson, etc. This cover is much more glamorous than any of those.

It's not the most exciting cover, but Charlize looks beautiful and it's a perfect cover for US Vogue.

Charlize always looks glamourous, I hope there are good models in the editorials. Last year had interesting editorials, I'm hoping that the contents will be promising.

One other thing:
I also wish the cover was more of her whole body, instead of just her face, so you can see more of the "fall fashion" you know?

^This cover is BY FAR better than Bazaar.
Atleast they have a REAL background! and a woman with talent, who DESERVED the cover.
Love Leighton, but she has NOTHING on Charlize.
I don't even think these 2 magazines can be compared.

why not? because of Vogue is thicker than Bazaar in September?? BZ started earlier than Vogue, and be the first american fashion magazine.

1st: Although this September's cover of BZ is boring but the subscriber is good, BZ did its best to bring the best cover to their readers, bring the new, the fresh. But look! Vogue do this style of cover millions time, so tired of it, there's no something new.

2nd: The content of BZ is brief and easy understand, easy read and more luxury.

3rd: Vogue is running for ad. pages for what? In 800 pages there's only 150 pages of content? Is it content??? The thickest magazine in my country can do 300 pages of content every month.

(I do not to negate the talent of Miss Wintour or Miss Bailey because the have their own point of view in fashion, they are admirable.)

shot by Mario Testino

Blank Canvas
Charlize Theron pays tribute to Georgia O'Keeffe's fierce feminism with a polished dress and a classic white shirt, posing here in the artist's workspace at Ghost Ranch, O'Keeffe's summerhouse in New Mexico. Carolina Herrera one-shoulder mohair-organza evening dress. Ralph Lauren Black Label cotton button-down. Proenza Schouler belt.

Braving the Elements
Left: The actress, no stranger to harsh environments, stars this month in The Burning Plain, a love story spanning the U.S.-Mexico border. Boss Black coat. Dior halter dress with Chantilly lace detail. Turnbull & Asser white pocket square.

The Road Less Traveled
Left: "Charlize has this brilliant ability," says director Niki Caro, "to set the bar very high and the tone very low." Blumarine coat. Giambattista Valli cobalt silk-jersey dress. Miu Miu Peter Pan-collar blouse.

En Pointe
Theron can snap into and out of character, the way a dancer does when she whirls onstage or off-, and knows her body can carry the story. Salvatore Ferragamo wool-blend dress. Eskandar poplin shirt.

Her ed is actually pretty stunning IMO...although I can't stand Testino and he did the whole ranchy theme with her last time. The shot with her in Dior and the Boss coat is pretty divine.

The setting is beautiful, the subject is beautiful, but I wish there was some color in the styling. I mean I get that they're going for O'Keeffe, but that environment just begs for lush color.

Also I probably would've shot at dusk, but that's just me splitting hairs.
