The editorial is very gorgeous. Any of those pics would of made a much better cover, yet Vogue picked the most boring one instead.

but i think i'd have been more excited to see dame julie on the cover, actually...

isn't charlize theron a bit of a poor - or at least dull - man's nicole kidman? i don't get her appeal....

that being said, i think it's wonderful that anna and co. managed to get the issue to that many pages. it's wonderful because vogue stands for a lifestyle that probably doesn't feel the recession and so the illusion is kept alive.

it would have been interesting to see a 'vogue does depression' september issue, but i'm sure there are a few money men and one miss wintour who would never let that happen.

however, i can't help but smile at the fact that charlize theron gets the 'september issue - recession edition' cover, but as good of an actress as she may be, she definitely stands for the low key rather than ostentatious. so maybe she's actually a good and very honest choice for a cover girl...

Charlize looks beautiful in the ed,and the setting is lovely, not the most exciting styling but very classic! im hoping the rest of the eds are more edgy and original concepts.

They could use third shot from Charlize's ed as a cover, it's not the best but most suitable to be a cover image,but I still love Charlize and because of her I'll buy this. Looking forward to see eds.
