Just terrible. Beyonce looks awful, her hair looks like they put hair gel on it

One of the editorials in this issue is by Sebastian Faena.

Sorry to say this, but I think his photography is stale, uninspiring and boring. I think V should get another photographer for their next issue

^ I agree with you, I'm so sick of Faena!

The cover is alright... Everybody thought it strange Beyonce wasn't on the cover of any major magazine, with her new album and new movie, but here she is... Really excited about the Meisel ed, it does sound like the canceled Vogue Italia ed

The cover isn't spectacular, hoping good for the content though since the last issue was so good

So Meisel's Sex editorial went to V!

I'm not a big fan of the cover but then again I'm not a big fan of covers in general I'm really looking forward to seeing more of Lakshmi, Heidi and of course Viktoriya's editorials who have already been previewed. I'm intrigued by Meisel's editorial... what is it going to look like ? who will be in the editorial ? etc. but all in all it's not bad at all to be intrigued by something, especially by Meisel.

Don't need... don't want & I couldn't care less about that insipid sex edit either.

I really do not understand people's obession with that infamous Meisel sex ed i mean its not like you have seen it and therefore have to have it, but hey as long as its something that was turned down by VI and shot by Meisel it must be amazing.
Good for him that Conde Nast found at least some magazine they could sell it, since they didnt plan on publishing it.

Cover is not good, she looks ok, but i dont like how her hands & V are positioned, it looks amateur.

This year has been truly bad, as someone who has been buying magazines her whole life, i would say its been damn depressing and uninspired.I have found myself not counting even on VI anymore, i hope 2009 is better.

i thought the dogging trend was over and done with also. that already made the mainstream press in the USA years ago.

unless there's some new twist on it...

i actually like the cover. i think it looks classy.
