I love Penelope but something about this cover and spread seems rather boring. I guess it's because Vanity Fair hasn't made a Hollywood kinda issue in awhile.

^absolutely true, I was just going to say something similar. they've succeeded in ruining her beauty, which is a hard task. she actually looks like Alicia keys on that cover in some strange way (nothing against alicia, of course, but they are two very different people...)

i'm disappointed....penelope has such a charasmatic face, this could have been an opportunity for a really special cover and instead it looks tacky and fake. they could have done so much better..

The cover isn't much, same for the spread inside. It's nothing we haven't already seen. Penelope always looks gorgeous though!
