I like the styling and minimal layout but her face looks different than usual, doesn't it? I'm not overly familiar with her but I wouldn't have recognized her if it wasn't for her name on the cover...

I appreciate the focus on the natural beauty look that she has thankfully adopted, but she looks a bit bobble headed and awkward.

Welcome, thanks for posting the additional shot. Whoever decided on the swept away hair, made the perfect decision. It's great in the contrast to austere styling & poses. Polished hair would not have worked here!

Did you mention that Edita shot an ed for this issue? Do you know who shot her?

Edita was shot by Lachlan Bailey and styled by Gillian Wilkins. From my understanding it was for the September issue, though I could be very well wrong. Though a cover would be unlikely, it'll be great to see Edita covering the October or November issue - her face is exquisite.

I think this might be her best Vogue cover since her first UK cover! I do like they went with a simple background and just focused on her beauty with minimal makeup look.

The shot where she's in the black and white dress from her own collection, easily could have made the cover! Overall, I might be buying this issue. Even though it's expensive her in the States.

Oh ok, and yes i second Edita for the cover, she would be perfect for the October issue. But Lachlan shot her so she just might end up in this or Sept! When do you subscribers get this issue?

Subscribers receive their copy this week. I will post a full review and post snaps once I have the issue in my hands.

Lachlan did shoot a Harper's Bazaar cover under Edwina's editorship so you never know! I would also love to see Doutzen Kroes or Natasha Poly on the cover - I think Christine would create magic with them! I had hoped September would be a model cover, but alas...it's Nicole Kidman.

Beautiful cover, simple and very natural looking for Victoria. Thanks, Miss Dalloway, for sharing!

You're welcome!

Unfortunately, there aren't any new ad campaign shots that we haven't already seen, except for the new Furla 2015.16 starring Anja Rubik.

^ Thank you, i feel like this year August issues didn't have a variety of new ads that they usually do. Somehow based on your review, this feels like a super thin, almost January issue.

It is thin but it's still quite a good issue - some great articles! I am eagerly anticipating the September issue, which I expect to be spectacular. I've also got a sneaking suspicion that a Testino edited issue could be in the works.
