thinking about it... i think i maybe would have prefered her hair darker (like the effect that the ebay image gave)

2 behind-the-scenes photos, (i'll post the rest in Alice's thread)

Her face looks a bit too photoshopped, doesn't she have freckles? And not digging the face pose but other than that I like it.

I'm so glad that this season Australia's Next Top Model (on the whole) choose models who actually have a chance in the industry rather than the crazy 'tv personality one' (um, hello, America's Next Top Model?)

And also unlike the US version (at least I believe so, maybe they've changed it) the Vogue editor and also the modelling agency gets to have a say and their vote is counted (they had to make their decision live on air in front of an audience) which is why the one with the most modelling potential (eg Alice) would win Sorry that this was longwinded. But yay, Alice was my favourite from the start.

To me, shes just not a legitimate model.. Suvi went through the paces for many seasons beofre debuting in the fashion limelight by opening Prada, that was her "break", smililarly, Gemma Ward was in the audience of a fashion competition and was flown to Milan to the Prada show, whereas this girl went on TV and got a complimentary cover simply because physcially her characteristics are regal and she embodies all the typical model attributes. Its somewhat unfair to other models to struggle through castings, futile shoots and auditions and dont book anything as prestigious as a Vogue cover, It took Raquel/Jessica/Lily years to get the cover of American Vogue. Australian Vogue seriously needs new managment and should endorse genuine models who have been around for more than two seconds.

I agree with you Miss...the model has to suffer to get there?
And Irina Kulikova in Prada ads in her first season? She dont deserves ...

really? fashion is fickle, about the next fresh face. Was Daria's Prada campaign in her first season unfair? or Gemma's Jil Sander/Prada ads?.. hmm

Her editorial was part of the prize, but the cover she scored on her own accord.

I dont think you should criticise her or vogue on the fact that she hasnt worked the runways many seasons to get a vogue cover.

Catherine Mcneill went from nothing to a Paris vogue cover and V cover in months! she did one show in NY, many in paris and milan, but its not like she was working hard for ages to get where she is.

If they loved her look then why not use her?

As they often put celebrities on the cover, i think that this is no different.

The shoot is amazing! And she's not limited to just one look as the judges repeatedly complained of her!

I wouldn't say her cover has been photoshopped. I have freckles and it is amazing what just concealer and fondation can do. In any photos you can't see my freckles and that's with a normal camera.

I think her cover looks amazing and good on her for getting it of her own accord! Say what you like about the quality of Australian Vogue but good on them for supporting local talent.
