Somehow when I read Terry Richardson on the thread it just made perfect sense. Vogue China has definitely had a downward year this year and it was only a matter of time before Terry reared his ugly head.

It does!! I thought women are always supposed to take centre stage when it comes to Vogue covers, odd to see Liu Wen look like the third wheel here.

This for me is completely forgettable, and the styling is so bad. There's zero holiday mood going on here (yes, I know Chinese don't celebrate Christmas, but there's definitely a holiday mood sweeping over HK this in December). I'm a bad surprised that Angelica agreed to a Terry Richardson cover, he's so passé.

i immediately thought GQ, but then i considered how common it is in asia to put men on the covers of fashion mags and decided it gets a pass. I like how androgynous Liu looks and overall not bad by Richardson standards. Reminds me of the Vogue China cover with Gemma, Sasha and Du Juan.

They've definitely hit rock bottom hiring him. "A class act" doesn't apply to this.

The worst year of Vogue China, I can't remember any cover they had this year.

Shame it's Terry, but i like this unusual composition for a cover!! It's not something you see often.

So freakin´ boring OMG! The styling, the poses, the layout, it´s a big NO NO for me and I don´t kow it feels so empty, like nothing is exciting there, it´s like a behind-the-scenes photo where they just sat for a minute. And yeah by Terry... How`` new´´ or classless to hire him back. NEXT!

Never mind his treatment of models, he’s such a hack in his professional output these days— that alone should be a call to his end.

The image is just awful— from lighting to styling. Why not just get some Chinese IG star to snap a pic on their iPhone if they want this brand of generic flatness…? But I guess Conde Nast and the general public still see some redeeming value in Terry's name these days. Vogue China sure has been on a speedy downward spiral this year.

And “A Class Act” as a coverline…??? Gross. Whenever anyone uses that term to describe anything— you know they’re on the cheap side of "class". And for a Vogue to put that term on their cover…
