There are a few Slavic photographers constantly referencing their background - Pudelka, Porodina, Yemchuk, and sometimes Popiezynska. I don't mind it personally. It's a welcoming change from fashion's obsession with the Pont Alexandre III, gritty East London, and Cali beaches.

They should've used Ruth's shot with the grey dress for the cover instead. Yes she does look like the offspring of Bowie and Tilda Swinton, but the image is much more striking. I quite like the entire edit, very refined and the styling is perfect. Ruth is ideal for location photography because it seems she's got a feeling for nature.

The cover edit is awful. Absolutely the wrong model for the storyline, just look at her posing. She's trying too hard to look serious.

"Ukraine" btw, not "the Ukraine", a "the" preceding the name refers to a geographical region and not a sovereign state.

Anyway, now all the eds in this issue have all been posted here, but it would be appreciated if anyone could share the eds in the original colors, because my new platform for the digital edition has an annoying light grey filter on the pages.
