i guess a combination of both though more geared towards visual fun....otherwise we may have to create a miley cyrus vogue

Well, what I thinking about was full attention to the lesser yet still essential elements - barcode, date, price etc - that you would get on any product intended for sale in a shop. Otherwise known as 'the small details that, if you don't get them right on the real thing, you get your hands slapped for your forgetfulness'.

So I would give full marks to anyone who spent the time doing those, in addition to their visual creativity, because to me, that's part of the craft of creating a cover.

This is a good question. The challenge is anything goes but I think the idea is really - lets say you were in charge of an edition of Vogue and were given this theme to work with. How would you want the cover to look? So it is visual fun and your own interpretation thereof.

That said if you want to do the challenge from a commercial POV it's also cool. Anything goes.

I expect to see some barcodes and dates on these too

2 hours ago I only knew how to resize pictures in Photoshop. Now I know how to install fonts and to make the Vogue logo go behind the face. It's my first fake Vogue cover ever so it's not so great. But as they say: practice makes perfect.

The World is fighting against recession, so I used this picture with a gun. Unfortunately I don't know who took it.
