I'm excited for Amanda getting her second VI cover in a row, but this cover just isn't working at all.

I really hope it stops there. Amanda's not capable of expressing any other level of emotion other than drowsiness. She ruined whatever vibe they were going for.

The only remotely interesting things about this cover are the shoes and the chair. Amanda fails to deliver the cool (?) vibe they were going for.

The styling looks interesting and I really like Amanda, but I find the cover rather unappealing.

The cover is rather boring and drab compared to the video

That video has me REALLY anticipating the story inside. Some great props/styling there!

I have to agree with everybody else, it's boring. This girl doesn't have "it".

I LOVE the cover. I like Amanda a lot. I think she definitely has room to grow in regards to conveying more behind the eyes, but she's so classically gorgeous that it doesn't matter (yet).

The video is great, too. The styling looks absolutely major. Such interesting looks and really cohesive together.

Only complaint would be casting Julia Nobis. She's such a snooze and has no sex appeal whatsoever. To me, Amanda works perfectly for this odd and conceptual styling because she has a womanly sex appeal and therefor an interesting tension is created (I mean she literally is blowing me away in the grey flannel wool look). Julia doesn't posses that same appeal and so she falls flat for me (no surprise).

It's sort of interesting, if you don't instantly dismiss it, far more exciting and artistic than the usual Vogue headshots we get from literally every other Vogue edition. Amanda is delivering the exact kind of subdued they wanted from her, I don't understand the great distaste for her.
