I picked it up today... and put it back, it was too thin an issue and the pre-collections supplement wasn't an attractive enough extra. I'll save my money and get January's or February's issue instead.

In my bookstore it was wrapped so I couldn't see what's inside I don't like the supplement, but the eds (Movie stills and Viva vacation) are lovely

I absolutely LOVE the Malgosia Bela/ Peter Lindbergh editorial....I love ed's that tell a story!!! And I was very impressed with Abbey Lee-though unusual to see her in Vogue Italia...for a sec I thought i was reading Vogue australia (but without Catherine McNeil on the cover). Is it just me or does Meisel not really show off the clothes at all? I found myself wondering why i really loved Vogue Italia the best, but compared to the rest I realised they have a point of view instead of 50 points of view according to whoever is advertising...Anna Wintour is a corporate whore! Thank god for Anna Piaggi!

yes...youre right.... I just happen to love Anna P.'s point of view! But altogether i think Italia is the best Vogue... (if I could read Italian I bet I would appreciate it even more!)

I'm confessing my bookstore sins to you, but...

if a magazine I'm interested in buying is wrapped, what I'll do is I'll take it and find an empty aisle, take the wrapper off then look through it. If I'm not interested, I'll hide the wrapper then put it back.

great, I do the same thing sometimes, but it was few days before christmas, so there was an enormous crowd in the bookstore and there was like no empty aisles and I think I'm not the only one who does it cause I often find empty wrappers on the shelves

I couldn't stand in a store and take the wrapper off a magazine.

anyway.. I picked up my copy of this issue today, and I'm pleased that I did. I love the cover, and was surprised to see the Vogue title was shiny. I rather like the supplement too.
I picked it up late, which is rare for me

i didn't buy it because there was only one left and it looked like it had been read through many times :-( ... I guess I'll wait for one on ebay. I must have it because Abbey's ed is so beautiful
