I like the main ed. as well. And it's a little bit surprise cause I have this weird feeling about the cover up until now.

I understand that this ed could look pretty trashy to different people but no, seriously, no matter how bad Meisel is, he is no where near the level of that creepy Terry.

Raquel is a good choice too but I think Vanessa's softer features might work better in this ed.

Im so surpised by Vanessa. AMAZING work in the editorial, she will go far.
The editorial is nice, much better than the cover. I remember I said some months ago that Meisel would do a Instigram themed editorial (I guess I was right).

As for the cover, this main editorial does nothing to me. I've looked at the pictures and was not captivated by any. It looks like a huge mess, I don't get the concept and the models simply do not get along well. Disappointed.

It never crossed my mind that Vanessa was such a Jerry Hall look-a-like until now - the resemblance is uncanny!
I think it's a fun editorial - do I need to buy it, though - no.

Hate it. Marlon is a bad model. He has as much sexappeal as a 12 year old boy. And the photography is just plain bad. Meisel must stop these photoshop monstrosities he's sending to VI.

For as much as I didn't care for the cover, I really like the editorial. It's very 70s Jerry Hall meets Chris von Wangenheim, with a little Warhol thrown in too. But I still don't care for Marlon here. He just tries too hard.

I don't understand people calling this trash when it successfully captures the spirit of that time period. It isn't meant to be pared down or elegant, it is pure 70s decadence, over the top, almost farcical and completely in line with the larger than life personalities the story references. I wouldn't want to see a tasteful interpretation of the mid-70s, it wouldn't feel right.

Vanessa truly captures the spirit of Jerry in this, she's got tons of personality in her images.

^ I agree, i think its very well done, it has the spirit and energy the cover shot is missing. And especially she is wonderful here.

I love it, very nicely done and the casting works well with Marlon and Vanessa.
The thing I hate the most is when people play the age card saying she is only 16 why is she doing certain poses, the industry is obsessed with youth and they know themselves that many things like this will be in there path when they sign up to actually being a model.
