Laura Kampman is quite possibly the only newcomer with some depth in her eyes and innate elegance among the crazy amount of lost-looking look-alike Dutch girls seen in the summer shows. I'm glad she scored this.. Vogue Italia is rarely up my alley and this is not an exception but the cover is typically Meisel and she kind of gets to be herself so it's all positive..
Laura looks OK on the shot, I don't see emotions in her eyes but at least her stare isn't absent. I really don't understand why they needed to pick a newface for this concept. I miss the times where it required depth and soul to make it on the cover of Vogue and this is what Laura and all the other Meisel preferred newfaces don't have. Besides that, I truly like the photograph.
i think it's interesting but underwhelming.. i mean after seeing the Numéro and i-D covers
anyway i'm glad for Laura K, she was probably the only newcomer that caught my attention right away on the CK runway,
and i like the glove!

I like the cover. But you could of put any established model on the cover, and it would of been just as good if not better.
