I hyper-ventilated when I read the thread title! So many great things about this issue:

- I'm happy to see Anna J on the cover again!!
- Anna S is on top of the world right now... And Meisel worked his magic on her, she looks stunning on the cover
- I've warmed up to Viktoriya since the Prada campaign and I must admit she looks great on the cover
- The editorial is really sleek and beautiful, I love it
- The casting is genius
- I'm so thrilled to see Natasha Poly!!! I don't know what was wrong with Meisel but I'm so glad that he decided to stop ignoring Natasha this season

Haven't been this excited about a Vogue Italia issue in a long, long time!

A simply fantastic cover - well deserved for all three girls The editorial is less striking, but it does seem to represent a more muted, cautious period in the world due to economic turmoils. The juxtaposition of the photographs with the other images are very futuristic and urges us to look forward instead.

And Zaha Hadid

I love this time of month when all the new magazine covers come out, and I was
really excited to open this thread but ...
This new type of aesthetic in fashion is not appealing at all to me.
I think the cover girls are pretty, but to me they all look quite the same and are
easily forgetable - there's nothing in this cover or editorial that will make me remember it in the next year. It's actually really dull to me

I dislike Anna S. and will never understand her appeal. Especially on this cover where from afar, I thought it was Hanne-Gaby.

Anna J completely steals the show along with Natasha Poly. The other girls are of little importance to me.

Besides, its a boring cover/editorial either way. I'm losing faith in Meisel's ability to shoot interesting and dynamic studio shoots. Every time he shoots in a studio it becomes stale, no? His location shoots are always more conceptual, more aesthetically pleasing and generally more interesting - even if the casting is not.

We are obviously in the midst of a new era judging from the recent VI covers and the Prada ads. Hello boring bland pretty blondes! I am resigned to seeing your identical mugs every month for the rest of the year and maybe next year too. Meisel dont fool me, these girls are the same person.

(One could argue that the baby dolls were all the same person too)

^I agree it's hard for me too, telling Sessilee and Kinga apart from each other in this editorial because all the girls look exactly the same.

I'm a bit tired of everyone complaining about the models. They may look similar from far away but they all are unique in my opinion also the Prada cast.

No matter what year you're in, what's hip or what's not, people always say the models of 'today' all our identical, bland or boring. They are saying it now, 3 years ago, 8 years ago, 15 years ago....I don't understand how some people fail to see something unique in all of these girls and the people who don't see it are confused by the fact I do. It's an eternal argument, never to be won by anyone, so let's let it rest now and forever...please...
