I disagree it doesnt segregate anyone its just opening up beauty to the close minded. I dont think there should be an issue with one all black magazine seeing as we've had all white ones for a while now.. In order to get to have all ethnicities on a normal issue of vogue italia things like this need to be done!, to wake up advertisers, designers, casting directors, fashionistas, journalists, readers and me and you to different types of beauty

Im soo glad there is a three page cover!

^ There are already Asian (japan, china, korea, india) issues of Vogue, the way I see it until there is an African Vogue black models won't get the editorial time they deserve. That's not going to happen soon. America is a melting pot and African Americans are part of this country, but US Vogue doesn't promote them enough, much less other nationalities.

I guess South Africa would be the one to do it...but I suppose various factors play a part in getting a Vogue for a country. I have no idea what but some like Australia just recycle every other Vogue's stories and pictorials.

Anyway Jourdan is defintiely one of those rare and unique girls that doesn't come along too often. I see her definitely rising up high...

Is there really the market for a fashion magazine like Vogue in most African countries though??

You'll be surprised. Africa isn't just "feed the children" and "Save Darfur" campaigns. They have a Cape Town Fashion Week. Their is extensive fashion based out of Cairo, and Egypt. I am sure that if the Conde Nast people really wanted to put an African Vogue, Egyptian Vogue, South African Vogue, and any other Vogue that truly represents black fashion, and people, then I think they would of done it by now. I mean look how long it took for India Vogue to come out, and the cover girl for the premier issue happened to be Gemma Ward (and two other Indian models)

To let everyone know who is in the US area, Barnes and Noble carries it for $15.95

Sessilee is Amazing

Its funny how that always works out.
Sessilee is this great girl, that literally 1 Season ago durning fashion week castings got dropped from IMG, she had to settle for Major, and now books Italian Vogue, (Second Time) Its wonderful that she is having her shot at it all again, she is a wonderful sweet gal that totally deserves it.

I like Jourdan's cover best. Naomi just doesn't look like...Naomi. If that makes sense, lol.
