Who is Alva Chinn?

And I will admit the framing annoys me a little bit too.But whatever ,I'm still so looking forward to this.I just hope Borders doesn't keep the issue in the stupid plastic wrap that keeps you from being able to look at it.

^How do you pronounce her last name?

I keep thinking you say it "doof" but that doesn't feel right for some reason.

One of the models who ruled the runways back in the 70's & early 80's along w/Pat Cleveland & Bethann Hardison, etc.

thanks for the larger pic, luxx...
i'm quite excited to see the pics inside of some of these names, especially chanel, kiara, veronica, and tyra...
i know there is a some tyra-hate on tFS, but i always loved her as a model and she broke down many doors in her day...
it's unfortunate that her post-modelling persona has tarnished what she did before then...

The new cover is greatly appreciated, no more squinting to find the names.

Noémie is in it

I think the cover may still be a foldout, except there are four versions of it, and each girl gets the "main" cover!

I'd have to agree. I'm not sure why, but Tyra in the issue doesn't feel right to me...

Can't wait to see Ubah and Arlenis. I'm also anxious to see how Toccara did.

Why should Tyra not be included in this? I really don't see the problem.

^ its just the way tyra wants to be seen nowadays, as if she were a super instead of a lingerie and bathing suit model, as ridiculous as her talk show is, she has such an inflated sense of value in herself i suppose that annoys me. and also, with all those endeavors, her silly shows (the apprentice one and antm) that go for ratings over creating models and the like, she's just so..... commercial. she just feels so out of place in one of the pinnacles of high fashion, vogue italia.

i just think it's the must have VOGUE in this year, stunning beauties! tyra is beautiful and an absolutely successful african american model, so why make her out of this issue? it's all about the balck models not something stuff about the black icon models
