....Hilarious! What about Katoucha, any knowledge on if she is in this issue?!

Why is everyone complaining about Sesilee being on the cover?...
Imo she has the best cover, and Vogue Italia is all about introducing new faces and putting the girls into the business

I think they were going for a very 'cover' style cover. Framed in black, pure white background, and headshots. Just like in the 70s/80s. They want to focus on the fact that these girls are on the cover and what that means.
Exactly

To be honest its too early to say anything as we haven't seen the editorial in full. This is just a preview.

Despite the fact that Vogue Italia's do have overt "themes" to their main editorials most months it isn't always the case that the theme is as blunt as last month's journey into aristocratic malaise or the incredibly specific visual styling of Eva Mendes' a month prior to that where it was clearly aping the look and style of a period. Sometimes the theme is loose or differs throughout the editorial. I agree that they have chosen to focus on the girls rather than a great big "theme" and that should be interesting. Besides no matter the theme they had chosen it would have been critiqued given the subject matter. Better to do individual shots - especially considering the scheduling of such a massive undertaking as this.

Maybe its a sign of the speed at which we move now due to the internet but judgments are coming so very quickly based on so very little. A few thumbnail sized covers and a couple of shots of what is no doubt going to be a very long editorial isn't enough for me to make up my mind any which way.

As the old saying goes, don't judge a Vogue Italia by its cover...

Beautiful! Liya has some great cheek bones. I see Gail O'Neil, Veronica Webb, Iman and Karen Alexander on the list. Congratulations for the new models, and hooray for the legends.

I don't see Jeneil Williams on the cover list...guess she didn't make the cut even though she shot with Meisel for this issue.

Now I've basically lost my eyesight trying to figure out who the rest are.

I don't see anyone judging the whole issue prematurely, the cover discussion so far has been just that. discussion about the covers.

be careful, sethii, you won't be able to appreciate the scans if you go blind. and maybe (hopefully, because I too want to see Mimi Roche) all of the models featured in the issue aren't listed on the cover.

How thick is this issue?

It would be weird to mention so many names if that wasn't all of them

It was posted in the Cover Rumour thread that Toccara shot this issue...but that doesn't mean her pics will be used

edit: sorry cambry if I misread your words....I thought you were talking about Liya's editorial pic.
