Vogue Italia is "only" €6 here, I believe it's as cheap as VI gets when sold outside of Italy... But yes, I could totally have gone for drinks with that money I was looking at all my magazines today and thought the day I decide to throw them all away, it'll like throwing €3000 in the toilets and flushing

That issue is worth its price though IMO... And you hear that from someone that hasn't bought Vogue Italia since Decembre 2007!

Haha I'm sometimes asked that question too... I'm like "why do you care?"

I'm having the hardest time getting this issue. I've been buying VI pretty consistently but this issue is always gone before I can get to my sources.

Are there any fellow Chicago tFSers who know where there are some still available?

taben I hate it when they ask that too. When i'm away on holiday I allways buy international issues, and they look at me wierd.
but at the end of the day at least I pay, and it is not any of thier business

Italian Vogue hits a nerve, July 15, 2008 -

Last Thursday, when the Italian Vogue hit our local newsstand, all of their issues were gone by noon. We at MDC, not only got the 4 issues for the office, but as fashion fans, we each got the 4 pack for ourselves. $80 for 4 magazines that’s printed in a language we can’t read! Yes, some might think that’s crazy but an issue like this one is why we love what we do! Interestingly enough, the younger generation of fashion fans (that is our awesome interns) chose to support the new girls (Sessilee and Jourdan) when they picked out their own magazines.

It’s truly a collector’s issue.. If you haven’t picked one up, another 10,000 will be printed. Here is a interesting review of the issue, a guided tour.
