the front cover alone looks amazing!, even better than the whole fold out imo..

and i'd say that the girl on the far right is either Juliane Gruner or Elza L.

my only complaint about this cover though is the lack of diversity
it would've been great to see Fei Fei, Xiao Wen, Sui He, Nyasha or Marihenny!

Definitely very dark and gothic for a July cover, but who cares if it looks this good. It may not be your cup of tea as far as styling goes, but damn that's a great picture!

I can see what you mean...I def think that going with a fold-out was a way to make it more fitting for a cover image. I remember when Vogue IT would do these type of eds and have something more singular of an image for the cover...something more of a stand-out, maybe an only girl cover. You can definitely imagine how/what the story will look like because of the picture on the cover. Before, their covers would act more like a teaser for what's inside, instead of feeling like it was a preview/edited out from a larger edit of pictures. But damn it's so good. I love the austere mood in this..

Just wow . This is the kind of cover I've been waiting to see from Meisel these past two years. It reminds me of his early 2000's work (especially a couture story from 2003). It's so good I don't even care I can't ID any of the girls. This is the kind of cover I'll wait to show up every day at my store .

I love seeing a Vogue Italia cover cause the sort of excitement the magazine used to inspire, with an uncommon 'story' featuring a fresh cast.

Personally, I'm still holding out for one of those VI covers where Meisel does glamour with a twist, but I'll get my wish granted some day.

Those mustard letters.

I love the idea of cycling through the air on beautiful black layers. It is probably the most decent cover VI has put out this year, but I'm still not a fan. I feel like it only took a better angle and the right text colors to make this superb and they still couldn't do that.

Even though I'm not a sucker for all things goth , with it still being airy, the suspended outcome pretty much pleases me, as model selection as well. Lol, the season mark being yellow hurts my eyes a bit, but let's not get into details... Hope the content turns out as nearly likeable as this.

It's such a shame that this came out before the actual Gucci campaign. I doubt it will top this.

I can't take my eyes of it. It's the first Vogue Italia in ages that I've had a drastic need to have.

Erjona Ala is confirmed on the cover by her agency, as well.
